What's new for 1987:Toronado saw additional exterior color choices for '87. The stereo and climate control area was revised to feature larger, easier to use, buttons. The biggest news, however, was the sporty new Trofeo was rolled out in an attempt to remedy the prior year's sales disaster. It featured fog lamps, low pressure dual exhaust outlets, FE3 suspension, smoked out tail lamps and leather bucket seats. Sadly, total sales continued downward to only 15,040 units including Trofeos. |
